- harichExplorerTo B's Bunch and Howdy35,
Thanks a million. I was trying to help a friend by long distance who we vacation with every summer. Our departure date is just a few days away. From what he explained, the resevoir that he checked and has been checking all these years was the wrong one. The one for the jacks was a little further into the engine compartment in a not-so-easy-to see area. Once it was identified, he checked the fluid level and as both of you quickly diagnosed, it was very low. Five quarts low to be exact. The jacks are now working fine. He is the original owner of the unit, so it's a huge lesson learned. Very fortunate that it wasn't an expensive one. Thanks very much to you both as your advice gave him the persistance to keep looking. - howdy35Explorer IIYes sounds like a fluid problem. Make sure it is full with jacks up.
- B_s_BunchExplorerHave you checked the fluid level?
