Power windshield shade
The plastic gear in the right side power shade seems to be stripped. When powering up, the shade tries to go up(it does go up slightly)but then falls back down.
There are no manufacturer labels or markings on the shades. Tiffin says they used Carefree of Colorado during the early 2000's. Mine is a 2003. I cant' find any shades that match the width of my shades on the C of C website. Their site shows 31 and 36 inch shades. Also, there are no pictures on the website to verify that they look similar to what I have. My shades are 41" wide.
I looked at Auto-Motion shades and the pictures look very similar to mine and they come in similar widths, but Auto-Motion only sells to dealers. Is there some other places I can look and find a shade that is a close match to what I have? Also, is there an outlet for Auto-Motion that would ship to a private party? I wouldn't mind a used one if it is guaranteed to work properly.
