I've driven Class As with each of the chassis that you are considering. They are all nice. Any gas engine has good braking when selecting the right gear for going down slope. The V-10s are higher revving engines but are governed to reduce the chance for damage. The higher pitched sound does take a little getting used to however. I've driven both Ford V-10's with different transmissions over mountain passes in CO with bullet-proof performance. I recommend selecting the floorplan that you like best and that the performance driving meets your comfort-level expectations. - Blessings
