Pre 2006 Ford F53 vs post 2006 Ford F53 vs 8.1 Workhorse

If I were to by another gas MH it would be a 2006 or higher that is the year that Workhorse went with the 6 speed trans and Ford had the 362 HP with the improved 5 speed. I have not seen any chassis improvement since that year, maybe someone one here can correct me if I am wrong. I would favor the Workhorse because of the transmission and it seemed quieter up front at WOT.
