Dealer said to never travel with propane frig turned on.
I got the impression it was more of a "cya" issue. He said we'd hear from folks who did it all the time :) but HE felt it was a compromise in safety to drive with propane on. It does seem silly to have food in a cooler filled with ice when we have a frig....but he was so emphatic, he scared the******outta me lol
My owners manual says to turn off the refrigerator while fueling but nothing about not using it. I always run it on propane while on the road. some RV sales people, never owned a RV.
