We have a similar 02 DSDP with only 86,000 miles.IMHO at 97,000 miles you should have a about 400,000 or more left. I would look at all roof caulking, check refrigerator for flue and burner problems, check the transmission to make sure it has been serviced and if not take it in to an authorized Allison dealer, take it to Cummins and have them plug in their magic machine to check engine history and any recalls. From my personal experience have the hitch receiver bolts checked for torque. At 50K is priced in the right ball park. You may want new springs for the HWH leveler system.
