This is probably the most important aspect. If you try to watch both sides, you will miss. Yes, paint a stripe, but continue the stripe out in to your driveway to help you get lined up, long before you enter. Just put one stripe on the driver's side, so you can lean your head out the window and follow the stripe. Make the stripe fairly narrow, otherwise you will not easily tell how far over the line you are.

I back my coach onto railroad ties that are 24 inches off the ground. If I miss things will get interesting. On the other side I will hit the garage. I only watch my driver's side and have yet to hit the garage. Been doing this for 12 years.
