Best way to winterize: The S Method (if in the USA/Canada)
Install compass, Calibrate
Strap a snow blower to front of Motor home.
Get in motor home, Turn Key, Pull lever, Push pedal, Turn so Compass shows "S"
DRIVE.. When you stop for fuel and someone looks at that snow blower, Pushes his had back, scratches his head and asks "What the @#$@ is that Thing?" you are wintereized.
Seriously, blow out the lines (Force cycle the ice maker with pressure applied) or even just let them gravity drain provided there are no dips in the line (Force cycle without water pressure) Wash out the inside with baking soda as you normally would when cleaning the Unit, Prop the door open THIS IS IMPORTANT, prop the door open so it can properly dry out, and that's all folks.
