Prestone Antifreeze/Coolant?

After reading gob's of info and misinformation on the internet about coolant from experts and engineers and authority's. I will not go into detail but the only logical conclusion I could come to was DO NOT MIX ANTIFREEZE and use what the owners manual recommends or equivalent.

Also using distilled water seems to be important. HTH Jim

E-series should shill be using G-05. If its yellow, that's G-05. All other Fords have moved to Orange aka DexCool.

Avoid using "universal" formulas except in an emergency. Those won't react adversely with the G05, but they can degrade some of the corrosion inhibiters.

If it has the Ford Gold coolant in it then you need to use that. I believe it can be picked up in some parts stores. Zerex G-05 will safely mix.

By their website they have several. Check the owner's manual for specific language.
