I have read that 30% off MSRP is a good goal when buying new but is that apply to all makes the same?

Discounts on MSRP are a bit of give and take between us buyers and the dealers but we must be ready to get up and walk away from a price that is beyond our budgets or what we are willing to pay. 30% discounts have been posted buy some buyers but there are many variables between dealers that will effect the end price.
