Problems With Steering On Chevy Based Class C

This may be of interest to owners of 2003 to 2006 Chevy Express based Class Cs
It has to do with the Steering Arm Attaching Bracket Fracture and its repair. This condition may be serious.

  • Thjs is a special extension to original warranty that will fix the attachment plate free if 1) a clunk in steering, 2) loose feeling wheel, or 3) a bad shimmy must be present due to a fractured(ing) attachment arm.

    Our front end will usually groan on left turns while parking maneuvers. It has been there since new. But not one of the above. The groan was an issue that got a special bulliten, but I haven't found it online.
