Progressive insurance charges a cancellation fee

I called to cancel ins. on my class C. I wasn't even in the middle of a contract year, but rather about to re-up for next year, and since the rv will be sitting idle for a long time on some long term...

Seasonal type vehicles are subject to this. My Insurance carrier, that I've had for 32 years won't reinstate my Harley at all if I don't maintain constant coverage. I can't ride it 6 months of the year here. Also,if a vehicle is financed & your still making payments, the finance company won't allow it.
