  • I like things to look nice and we travel with our motorhome and when stored it is WI so not a huge issue. I do use the covers while in Florida in the winter. I still don't know how these attach from someone who has used them. Yes I could put garbage bags over the wheels but for me money is no object. The market has been really good lately.
  • They do work well, and I do think they'll preserve tire life some.... However I still state as I have for years that I'd rather go cheaper on the RV and buy an enclosure to store it in than a nicer coach and do covers and the like. (of course if it is possible in the area you live). A "garaged" coach from sun/weather will last WAY longer, look better, and won't have even close to the issues as one left outside. Dry rot, fading, paint, roof issues, funky a/c covers, etc. etc. All from weather & elements. 100k coach outside - no way. I'd go 70k coach 30k building.
  • ah yes, a $20 solution to a $5 problem.

finally found them, a $139 solution to a 5$ problem.

  • Apparently people who purchase these do not post here. These are screens that attach to the coach and cover the wheel wells thereby shielding the tires from the sun. The screens have aluminum struts sewn in to provide weight and they use suction cups that are attached to the screen. This avoids snaps, velcro etc. I was just curious about the details if anyone had used them. I have the window screens and like them so far. Much easier to use than the snap on ones I had on other coaches. I can get the details from the manufacturer that is a mom and pop outfit. I always get good info here so gave it a try and perhaps the absence of info also says something.
  • I know it is my Scottish heritage. But when my MH is parked on my drive way I just used large, heavy duty garbage bags.

Can't speak to the wheel covers but I really did like the windshield screen. Easy on/off and I had it for 10+ years with no issues. I liked it much better than the magnashade I currently have and it was much less expensive.
  • have no idea what you are talking about but mine came with elastic cords that you could lock around the tires. sounds like some firm has figured out how to double the cost.
