We have a 2015 Winnie 36Y Vista with the EXACT same issue. The bedroom and bath get all the heat with just a dribble getting to the front. I was able to put a flashlight in the front vent and could see the light with a mirror at the rear bedroom duct so mine is a straight shot but most heat exits the first two vents with little reaching the kitchen and front living area.. I used some aluminum foil to partially block the bedroom vent which seemed to send more to the front. I'm not happy with that solution as I'm sure it makes the heat exchanger run hotter. The duct booster idea holds my interest the best. In my case, there is a cabinet over the duct in the middle of the MH that I can probably take the bottom panel out of and burrow into the floor to get a booster fan in. Finding one for the 2 x 8 duct might be a problem. Another issue I had was the heat for the utility bay was dependant on some grilled vents at the bottom of the nightstands and a hole down into the bay and we had a minor bay freeze-up on one trip. I added a 12 volt computer fan that forces air down the hole. It runs anytime the coach battery is turned on. It uses so little power that I think it could run for a month without draining the battery. Since I shut off the batteries when we are not using the coach, it is a non issue. You can go to Winne's website and get construction drawings but they are quite vague, especially regarding ductwork. Since the RV is built around the ducts, it's pretty difficult to access them. I feel your pain over warranty work. We, too, live a fair distance from our dealer and the gas expense to get there is significant not even considering having to be followed and making a second trip to retrieve it when it's done. Much to my wife's disgust, I've resigned myself to fixing any small issues myself and only taking it to the dealer when the warranty repair would be costly (and trying to group problems together). Since the warranties only last a year, you might as well get used to fixing the piddling stuff yourself because RVs ALWAYS need something done to them! Another plus is you will know it's done right.
