Propane issue
Hi Folks,
I have a 2016 Class C Coachman Freelander that I got last May. I went camping this weekend (in Texas) and it was 75-80 degrees till Saturday night, when the arctic front blew in and dropped the temp to about 29. We turned the heater on about 10:00PM and all was running well. I woke up about 4AM to a strange sound and the heater blowing cold air. The strange sound was the heater trying to light, but couldn't. There was no propane getting to the burner. I tested the cook stove burners and sure enough, they wouldn't light. I had brought an electric heater, just in case, so I plugged it in and all was well as far as heat for the night. We came home this morning and when I got home, I checked the cook top burners and sure enough they lit - and I turned the furnace on and it worked fine. I did't leave it on but a few minutes. I am running the electric heater right now to keep the coach warm as we are going to be below freezing again tonight (a pretty rare event for us in Central Texas). I decide to turn on the coach heater to see if it would run like it did when I got home. It turned right on, the burners lit and it was blowing warm air. I went out about 30 minutes later and again, I could hear the burners trying to light - unsuccessfully - and the heater was blowing cold air. The gauge inside the coach and outside on the propane bottle shows that I have between 1/2 and 3/4 full of propane. Of course, I will get the bottle filled to be sure the gauges are working, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks in advance.
