How do you refill your propane tank? Do you have to go to a special refill place or do you pull out the tank?

can I ask about a TT with twin 20 gal tanks mounted on front? I assumed I would just pull my trailer to the fill up station like I did with my class A but somebody suggested pulling off the tank?
