I just saw your sig with the 2003 Monaco. IF the switch is outside and NOT inside, then the LP shut off is NOT connected to the LP detector. Monaco, on the Cayman's and other similar models mounted the LP tank in the middle with no access to the regular shut off valve. They connected a 12 volt LP solenoid to the tank and THAT solenoid is not a LP detector shut off. But, when ON it will drain the batteries. Doug
