proper glue for installing vinyl flooring tiles in RV

Two years ago I installed quick click vinyl floors tile in my rv. Living here in Canada the rv goes thru extreme temperature during the year. The top click portion on many tiles has broken off due to...

I don't think any glue is designed to stop expansion and contraction of a manufactured flooring product. Hold it down? YES
Stop expansion and contraction? NO
What EXACTLY were the directions given on the installation sheet that came with the flooring? If there was a glue needed, I am sure they would have specified exactly what type to use when going over a wood underlayment.
