I'm 70 years old with a bum knee, but I love my driver's door. The steps are well placed for me, and the only issue I had was finding the first step when stepping down. I cured that by marking the location on the door sill with a permanent marker. I use the door at every fuel stop and whenever I want to do a quick check on the toad or tires without having to raise the step cover and unlock the main entry door. Not having one might not be a deal breaker for an otherwise perfect coach, but I sure would miss it!
