- bthomfordeExplorerI have a 7720 and a 7735. both of these units are far superior to any of the 3 Garmins I had before.
- chuckftboyExplorerI also like the RM GPS. I've been using the older 7710 for years without issues New maps are easy to down load and it has most camp grounds already loaded. Traveled from Florida to the western and northern states many times without any problems. At $249 the 7735 is a good buy. Just downloaded the latest maps for our next trip to upstate N.Y.
- SquealersExplorerBought a refurbished 7" DEZL 760, with a full warranty from Garmin. It was less than the RV 760, and yet it RV customizable for height/weight/width.
So far so good! - webslaveExplorerI guess I've been extraordinarily lucky...I have an RV 7720 LM and love it. It is accurate (as accurate as a GPS gets), the Lifetime maps keep me up-to-date and it interfaces just fine with the GS Trip Routing program. Easy to use and I find it just as "friendly" as any of the other GPS units I've used and the 7" screen is easy for me to see at a distance. We use it in conjunction with the built-in GPS unit in the coach and do "route comparisons" as we go...if they agree with each other we're reasonably confident in the route, if they don't agree, we break out the tried and true paper map and DW makes the call (she's been my navigator for years; long before consumer GPS units were made) on which route to stick with and let the other correct itself "on the fly".

Skip the Rand Mcnally and go for the Garmin RV 760LMT. A far better overall experience IMHO.
Same here. I had the RM 7710, 7720, and had high hopes for the 7735, but it failed right out of the box. Sent it back & bought the Garmin RV 760LMT and never looked back.
I no longer want to be an RM beta tester. - Up_DownDeCoastExplorer

If it's from camping world put me down for dislike. The fact that is is discontinued would also be no for me. If I was spending money on a new GPS I would at least like is supported and replaceable for a year or so. Just my $.02
You are incorrect. The 7735 is fully supported by Rand McNally. Has not been discontinued. - afrescopXxExplorerI have a Garmin 2797 customized by me for RVing. 7" screen.Garmin = excellent.

I agree. Get the Garmin RV 760LMT. I think it is a great GPS.
X3. I Have had the Magellan and the Rand, neither lasted longer than two weeks. Power failures, software lockups etc. Garmin is by far superior to both. - chucl66Explorersch911, thanks for the suggestion.
Will check that one out.
Chuck - ncrowleyExplorer III agree. Get the Garmin RV 760LMT. I think it is a great GPS.
