Protect All Spray

Does anyone use this to product to also "wash" their motorhome if it is just the normal dust/pollen, road spray from a rain storm. The spray bottle says it cleans but not sure if you need to do a traditional wash with soap and water first and then use this product. I certainly would not use it to get off mud but that is normally never a concern.
  • I did use protect all yesterday, and it does remove light dirt and leave a wax look shine. Looks to be as good as any of your high price waxes ,jmo
  • Thanks for the replies. I was comparing this to the Aerospace Wash Wax All others mentioned and that product appears to be a Wash and Wax in a spray bottle so was hoping the Protect All spray could be applied the same. It has a pretty thick consistency vs. a detail spray so I was concerned that spraying this on a camper without first washing it might invoke scratching. I can't find anything that clearly states the Protect All is a wash and wax like the Aerospace Wash Wax All product promotes.

I did order the Aerospace Mop and mop head with 4 replacement micro fiber mops to make applying this product much easier than using a ladder.

There are a variety of Protect all products. If you are referring to the Protect all Quick and Easy Wash then you should be just fine. It will work like the other dry wash products. My personal belief is that you don't have a protected finish like you would have if you wash and waxed your coach but it will give you a clean look until you can get a proper wash and your bi-annual wax job. Water is your friend when washing your coach but those selling this stuff are likely to start flaming me any second. I tried it and it does work. I just don't think it's a good long term option compared to washing your coach with soap and water.

Bill, Do you wax only every other year. I try to wax annually or i should say pay to have it waxed. With new coach I wait at least a year for first wax.
  • I've been using Protect All on my motorcycles for more than 10 years to clean dust and water spots after a long ride with no ill effects. Many of the Harley shops sell it. For the past 3 years I've used it on the coach but usually after a wash with soap and water. Gives me good shine and UV protection. I now buy it in a gallon container and use a spray bottle instead of the aerosol can. Its cheaper that way
  • Great stuff, either by itself as a spray wash/wax or just a wax after a wash. Either way it works good on everything, paint, gelcoat, glass, vinyl, chrome, rubber.
  • I second the wash & wax. Also it's great therapy if you want a larger rig. LOL

  • What is the name of the product? Is it called Protect All? Never heard of it.
  • No, I've never used it, but looking forward to hear from you in the future on how good it works.
