Only twice in the 6½ yrs. that we have had our coach I fill up in the truck lanes. I usually have the tow vehicle attached so it makes it easier to maneuver around. Also, as many here have said, the truck diesel pumps 20+ gallons a minute. When you are buying 100+ gallons (we have 150 gal tank), it's so much nicer.
When finished, I pull the coach up in the truck waiting area, pay, then leave. Fueling is by far one of my least favorite things to do. Even though I've never been bothered by the hard working truckers, I just feel like I'm the way which makes me want to get out even faster.
