We too always use the truck lanes. DW goes inside with the other CC in case it cuts off at some preset limit. We have tanks on both sides so the slave pumps are a primo benefit at the truck islands. When fueling, I always set the slave at a faster fill so it will finish first and then know when the driver's side is full, I'm completely topped off. Make sure to pull the hoses out of the way when you're done fueling and pull forward to let trucks behind to start. Often get comments or thumbs up on our rig from the OTR drivers. Also when there are lines, often will get trucks behind us earlier than other lanes since most know we will top our tanks quicker than the semi's with their much larger tanks.
I don't use the slave pump as I lean my coach to the passenger side on the airbags so that I can get every last drop in the tank from the driver's side.
