I agree with you completely. I've been using the truck lanes for over 10 years and never had a problem.
I too like the truck lane if available except there is usually a lot of spilled oil and diesel to contend with plus i find most truckers simply will not pull forward till there good and ready to which can be
trying.The faster pumps are nice but Iam finding that the new to newer regular vehicle pumps are a lot faster than the older ones
I always use ease of access in and out as my first measurement of where to fuel
