yes i went thru this several years ago
those "rocks" tiny crystals attached to ends of nerve hairs
when we move the fluid in the ear moves, the crystals pull on the nerves
when some of them detach, they float around bumping into the nerve hairs causing signals that say were are moving, in a direction we are not,
the eyes go nuts trying to keep up with the signals
the eply maneuver is great.
my uncle has a recurring problem with menears disease which is not so easily cured
