I fuel many places in the state often and this statement is not true. Do not keep track on prices in Washington so not sure about the price factor.

I resent the remarks for all the USA to read!! I live and refuel in Oregon. Love to be serviced like the old days!! The druggies .... NOT true. Yes, maybe not as educated but at least THEY are working!! Yes, true "not cheaper". The state, city, county taxes added ..... BUT, Oregon has NO sales taxes for any sort of purchase!! That's nice!!

Yup

New Jersey has recently allowed people to pump their own gas. Oregon keeps the law to help keep their unemployment numbers down. And, no they do not clean the windshields or check the oil.

One more thing with Motorcycles I have seen the owners of those pump there own fuel with the attendant watching. I was also told by a Fred Myers attendant that on very expensive cars they, attendants, do the same and the owner will pump if there is a strong objection by the owner.

I spent three summers in the Mt Hood area, Sandy, Estacada and Madras areas and stating to miss it.
