Like the attendant told me when we went through Oregon last month. It gave him a job. He would get fired if someone jumped out and pumped fuel. There are some good points about the attendant pumping fuel. My gas tank holds 80 gallons. If I pump myself, like in other states, I either have to deal with the pump shutting off 2 or 3 times because of $75 to $100 max on credit card or go inside to deal with it before I can pump. The attendant in Oregon pumps and then takes care of you. One bill not three. Really not a problem.
The fuel pumping and great beer was the best thing I liked in Oregon. Couldn't afford to live there. They ship their beef and salmon to WY and we pay 1/3 the price that they charge for their own beef and salmon in Oregon. Amazing. JMHO. Best small craft breweries you will ever find anywhere. I plan to go back just for the beer. :B
