Pumpkin Carving Contest
When I was the Mod I would hold a Pumpkin Carving Contest every Halloween. Well its back, so head over to the Pumpkin area and start carving.
You will need Flash Player to carve. After you carve your best Pumpkin post a picture of it in this thread. The winner will receive One Oval RV.Net Sticker
OK, sorry I forgot saving it doesn't work, you have to do a Print Screen.
For those that have never done "Print Screen" before this is a good time to learn something new.
Go to the Pumpkin Carving site, carve your pumpkin, then follow the steps below.
Windows:
1. Click the Print Screen button on your keyboard (locations vary)
2. Open the program called Paint. (located in programs-accessories) This is a good time to put a shortcut to Paint on your Desktop.
3. From the Paint program, click the Paste icon or Ctrl+V. Your picture will appear. If necessary, crop your picture using the tools in the Paint toolbar.
4. Save your picture as a JPEG to your desktop by selecting File > Save As > pumpkin.jpg.
5. Upload it to your picture hosting website.
Then post the photo into this thread.
For Mac's I don't know how you do it.
If you need help on how to post a photo, go to the Picture Posting tutorial at the "Forum Tech Support" forum.
Don't be afraid to ask the Mod 1492 for help.
If we get a lot of entries, I will narrow it down to 3 and let the Members pick the winner, otherwise I will pick the winner.
Please only post officially carved pumpkins, all others will be made into pumpkin pie.
Entries close Oct 30 at midnight.
