Unfortunately your 16 yr old MH is not worth much to a dealer. They will wholesale it somewhere else for parts or auction or whatever. They are more interested in the deal they can make on the new one. They have a profit margin on the new one. Your trade will impact how much they will discount the new MH. The more they "give" you on trade, the less they will discount the new one. You have to sort of know what your MH is worth low NADA if not lower, and what percentage off MSRP on the new one is acceptable. on a no trade deal you might see 25 - 35% off MSRP, with this kind of trade you might see something for your trade and 10-20% off MSRP. Just shooting from the hip.
