Flanz, you might be selling yourself short with how you are valuing the work it needs... What really is the work? Brakes, tires, alignment, axle service - no big deal, not too scary. Motor or transmission rebuild, maybe scary to some but I wouldn't walk away and there are many more like me who have rebuilt their own transmissions and have the tools and time to fix "a good deal." In any event, what harm is there putting feelers out to the tire kickers - no interest is the worst case. Show it/sell it as-is just as any other private motor vehicle sale.
If you absolutely don't want to deal with private sale, then shop at MAJOR camper dealers that move serious inventory and have units going into the wholesale market every month. Such dealers will give you the best trade you'll get at any dealer and also work with the lowest profit margin because they deal volume. For instance, Tom Johnson Camping Centers in NC would be such a dealer. I can give you a personal example, they were willing to sell us the brand new TT we wanted $300 over cost and would give us $1500-2000 more on trade of our old compared to EVERY other dealer within our 8 hour drive radius!
