Always negotiate a cash sale price first. Never talk about the trade until your cash deal is set up. That way you will find the true value of your trade. The dealer will not be able to burry money in the new rig. Meaning the wont charge your $14000 extra on the new MH and then give you $10,000 for your trade in.
Also don't expect low NADA retail. Expect very low trade in value. Last year we looked at buying a new MH. The dealer offered me $5000 for my MH that had a book value of $19,000. We did not do it.
