To answer the question asked how did the RV get to the state of rusted undercarriage Is I really do not know. I was checking under the RV a couple of weeks ago looking at the water tank overflow and saw the rusted areas. The chassis is perfect but it is the rails and under carriage that is deteriorated. There is a state of the art facility in Toronto Ontario that is giving me a quote on Tuesday but they told me the work will take two weeks so I gather lots of money. I never checked under the RV when I bought it 4 years ago. I paid $38K and have done lots of maintenance work including a recoiled air to air charger and power steering charger. The RV is running the best it ever has. So....there you go.
