There is probably a relay in the circuit that may be acting up. Look for relays usually located all together on the 12 volt fuse panel. Check for loose connections and poor grounds before replacing the relay. On edit. Be careful swapping relays around. They look alike but are not always the same depending on the jobs they are called to do.
