Why do you need to replace it? x3 on finding a good carburetor repairman and getting an informed estimate. Look for an old-timer or a racing shop. Having said that, an expert carb mechanic is not cheap. I just dropped $700 on a rebuild that was needed for my HR to pass emissions. It was a lot but the results were outstanding. However, my last motorhome, a '72, was exempt from emissions. I took out the original carb and put an Edelbrock on it. I was much happier with it. It was very easy to work on and tune. I sometimes wish that I could do the same for my HR.
