Because I'm the only one who has done the maintenance and repairs on my Newmar Dutch Star, I could tell you many design deficiencies and poor-quality construction items on MY particular model. I special ordered it, and picked it up at the factory. I have spent many hours fixing many things on MY motorhome.
Previously, I had a Winnebago Vectra, a Tiffin Allegro, and 3 others. I could also tell you about those.
I strongly suspect that Newmar has learned a great deal since 2003 (when they built mine). Also, I'm glad they got rid of their 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty, because it sure didn't work for me.
I don't recommend any of them, because I have no first hand knowledge on the ones that are now available. I only know which one I would buy next.
