I don't recommend off road anything in an RV.
-If you get caught in ANY sort of rain, you are in trouble off road
-With the wheelbase of these things, you high center on just about ANYTHING.
-"Hundreds" will not begin to cover a tow bill for a considerable off road recovery. Not to mention damage to the rig, which IMO is always more fragile than a passenger car.
-With the high center of gravity, any out of level is going to be unnerving at best and tragic at worst. Just driving from my barn to the driveway has its fair share of pucker in my case.
I recommend a camp spot that is near the road, and vehicles to get to where you want to experience. I don't know the practicality of that for you.
