Quartzsite is a lot of fun. In the past I would join a group of RV's and we stayed at the Las Posas South Kiosk ($40 for 2 weeks). We would have a big bonfire and pot luck dinners covering about 5 days. It was so much fun. I won't be able to join the group this year.
I always filled with water (in the previous coach) 100 gallons of fresh water and empty holding tanks (70 gray, 40 black) and only used about half my water over 5 days. I didn't worry about dumping or anything as the line is long (or can be) and just waited until I got home. The coach usually needs washing and a good cleaning on the inside. But, worth every minute as Quartzsite is fun and the Big Tent event is the highlight. If they don't have it, you don't need it! LOL!
Everybody should experience Quartzsite at least once in their life. Being with friends and a group is what made it fun for me.
Safe travels,
MM.
