In every RV park that I have been to, the "guide" is to show you where your site is located and which roads are the best to get there. Occasionally they will direct me to pull farther forward in the parking space. As far as pulling in to the site itself, it is all up to me, the driver, to make sure that i can make the turn, clear the branches and other obstacles, and safely get in to the parking place. I have been guided by park owners, their wives, their children, and other employees, and none of them knew how to drive my rig better than me. I have requested another site if I felt that there was something wrong with the assigned parking site, whether it had low hanging branches, not level, etc.
I'm sorry but you said you thought it was going to be tight getting in to that parking space. It was tight and you should have gotten a spotter to insure that you made it in OK.
