I drive, therefore it's my responsibility. I trust NO spotter, not even my wife. I check the site, I place orange cones as markers (whenever I deem necessary). I'm certainly not opposed to securing the vehicle/getting off/visually inspecting (every few feet). And, I trust NO pitbull, therefore either the dog is removed, or I'm leaving.
