Question about being guided into a site.
NO NOT EVER!
Did it once and learned my lesson. NO ONE guides me into my camp site.
Late at night arrival no lights in CG. Reservations for a pull thru site. 34 ft towing a toad.
CG Guide says I will show you. He walks in front of me and into the site.
I follow.
Only to find out it is not only NOT a pull thru but a site that is meant for a popup.
AND As I turn in my lights shine on a concrete bumper.
I am now at a forty five degree angle with the toad and unable to go forward or back up OR get the pins out to unhook the toad because they are jammed tight.
Nope, Learned my lesson. I say no thank you and take a flash light and walk the site myself before any attempt to pull into a CG site is made. Not all CG guides are smart. :C
