JTG Sorry about your misfortune but if you bought him a new tailgater make sure you get the old one from him because if all you did was crack the cover and not damage the internal parts there will be nothing wrong with the unit and you could possibly get a new cover and sell it to recoup some of your loss.I have had the cover off my tailgater and I would think that you could get a replacement cover for it
