WAIT just a cotton-pick'n minute :p :p :p ..... Why was the 'tailgater' on your spot to start with? The neighbor shouldn't have put anything YOUR site as he didn't rent it. It's his fault!
Now, trying to get him to pay or the park to pay, that's another story. I certainly would have questioned the guy who put the 'tailgater' in your site.
My park-host guided story... I was in Redland's, CA, at a park that was mostly park models. They probably had 25% for RV site rental. Anyway, I was by myself and the host was helping me back in.
I realized that I was getting pretty close to the rig next to me on my passenger side (the side that I couldn't see well). He kept motioning me to come on back. I stopped the rig, got out and looked at my passenger side, I would have definitely hit the vehicle next to me if I continued on 'his' course.
I told him, "what are you doing, I'm about to hit the vehicle next to me" He kind of just shrugged his shoulder's and 'oh sorry'.... I got out, walked around my site, checked everything and backed it in myself without his guidance.
It's OK to let them help, but KNOW YOUR SITE and check your mirrors/camera's, etc.
Safe travels,
MM.
