I have a Colorado Carefree. They say you can't roll it up. DW is making ours. So we just constructed some scrap into the track to try it. It will roll up BUT! Awning roll is too large and awning arms won't lay flat. So the answer is NO won't roll up. However, DW bought some shade cloth at Lowes. Same stuff CW sells already made into a screen. At the farm store we got some 3/16 inch dia. Plastic clothes line. It looks the same as Colorado Carefree uses in their track for the awning. We tried it and it works. DW is making our sun screen for about 1/3 or less of the one at CW. Our awning is called 17 ft. But fabric is 16 ft 1 3/4 inches. Ours will be exactly 16 ft. Very easy to slide in and out of the track. The plan is we can roll it up while parked over night. Or if it gets windy. Really doesn't roll up good enough to drive down the road. Our will be 4 ft wide plus a little for binding on edge etc. That will drop it down far enough to keep sun off us.
