Windshield sunscreen

I got a windshield cover and covers for my mirrors, 10 additional windows and 4 wheel covers from ShadePro. The total package cost less than just a single Magnashade windshield cover. Using a ladder to install them is not the big deal a lot of folks make it out to be. Takes me about 10 minutes to install everything.

Another enthusiastic recommendation for Magneshades. The magnet system is great. I have put them on in very windy conditions. Never need a ladder.

Mangeshade is NOT the only option. Some of it depends upon how large your windshield is and whether you are comfortable on a ladder each time you want to install or remove the shades. We have standard black mesh shades (same as Magneshade) but with mechanical fasteners instead of magnets. They are substantially cheaper but work exactly as well. For my coach I just step up on the front bumper to attach the top of the shade and do the rest from the ground. I think I paid less than $300 for a custom fit set and they have worked very well for us for over 20 years.

To improve heat transfer through the windshield using a Magnashade, put 4 half inch PVC pipes covered with foam pipe insulation cut to the height of your windshield between the Magnashade and glass. This puts an air gap between the shade and glass. Works quite well.

I chose black shades so no inside light is reflected back as one is looking out. Seems if no cover is there.

Bought a big roll of Reflectix and made a shade for every window, and every cabinet on an outside wall.

I have a magnashade, but much preferred the Prompt shade I used to have on our old coach. Sadly, they(Prompt) are no longer in business, hence my purchase of the magnashade

Another +1 for MagnaShade. It is available in different fabrics and patterns.

We looked at a few rigs in various campgrounds that had the MagnaShade on them, talked with the owners and decided to spend the big bucks for our own set. Very pleased and would suggest them to others. We bought the front windshield and the drivers and passenger front windows too. Does make a huge difference in the heat getting into the rig.

Magneshade. EZ up and even easier down...no drilling, no snaps, no ladder needed. and it does the job.
