Questions about 1995 Pace Arrow

A friend of mine called last night and said he has been offered a nice 1995 Pace Arrow at a very good price. He wanted to know if there are any known issues with this unit. Don't have model name but know it is a 30 something footer.

Said I would look at it and go through the house systems with him but told him he needed my heavy equipment/RV mechanic go over the running gear.

  • I had a 99.
    95 will be a 460 if it's a ford, not a v10.
Either way it will have the "skinny chassis", where it looks like the front tires are buried underneath it.

As was said, Pace Arrow was the top of the line gasser, probably one of the best in the industry at the time.
  • It will be either a 33ft ford or chevy, 35ftford or a 37ft tag axel either ford or chevy. They were all called visions. I had a 33 with the chevy power train. Worked fine except for over heating on long hills from day one. Only other problem was the drawer glides which tended to break easily. The Pace Arrow of that period was at the top of the dollar range for gassers.
  • Delamination. That time period and before Fleetwood was well known for it. If it has it, consider the unit worth junk price and part it out.
