I am with the poster that said rent first. Five kids and two adults is a lot in a full blown house, never mind in an RV. I can see your plan...2 or 3 up top and 2 or three on the dinette? and mom/dad in back? Man, that is only going to be fun for a short time. Maybe consider a trailer too, and carry a couple tents and the assorted stuff to keep seven people occupied and happy.
