I understand that a ralley is being held i Quartzite in Jan/2014, Has anyone attended one these and what goes on and any suggestions on what to look for as to camping,

We're in Q right now......there are a lot of RV parks that aren't full......One even has a sign that says $1000 for a year.....(you have to pay for the year to get that price). Another charges $275. for the month of January. And like other said, BLM is ALWAYS available..... A local told me there are a lot fewer people this year than in past years. Lots of vendors set up.....we're wearing ourselves out checking them out. :) :) Lots of bargains. Within the next week, everything will BOOM......:) :) As another poster said......you have to experience it. :)
note: if you're not used to noise from traffic, avoid any RV parks on Hwy 10 or Hwy 95.....we live in the country and the noise would drive me nuts. But there are parks set back away from the highways. In the Chamber of Commerce booklet, we counted over 50 RV parks. :)
