Something nobody has mentioned is all the interesting people you meet. The neighbors we've met at Quartzsite have in many cases turned into long time friends. Originally all we had in common was going to Quartzsite. We've also met a lot of people waiting in line for a free lunch at the La Mesa RV Silver Buckle. A lot of the vendors have interesting life stories. We've been going for about 10 years and still look forward to it. The city has evolved a lot and offers a lot of services to the visitors. There is great entertainment free or at a very low price. We've met interesting authors at the Readers Oasis, we've seen many unusual RVs and different ways of camping. Some of the best friends are people that can't afford RV resorts and are living month to month. Some have illnesses and disabilities, but are still there enjoying things. We usually stay for a week to 10 days and then move south to the Imperial Dam LTVA, but go back to Quartzsite 1 or more times for entertainment at the
QIA. We hope to be there in three weeks.
