I understand that a ralley is being held i Quartzite in Jan/2014, Has anyone attended one these and what goes on and any suggestions on what to look for as to camping,

We've met a lot of people at the Quartzsite Metal Detector's club (go to LINK. There is also a rock and gem club, & craft store with classes. If you stay in an RV park, you won't be able to NOT meet people. They have lots of activities. Oh....and the best "meeting" place is Silly Al's pizza. :) :)
