Quratzite, AZ

My wife and I went to the FMCA Rally in 2013, it was her first. She heard people talk about Quartzsite and wanted to go so when we left the rally this year I took her there and checked into one of the RV parks. We spent two days and looked around (I looked around, she shopped) and after the second day she said "been there done that" . It is a great experience if you are joining friends but not so much if you are on your own. I would say that every RV'er should do it once.

Apparently you missed my opening statement about NOT trying to upset anyone. But then again you are in Arizona and probably had too much sun on your head.
I have every right to post my opinion, just as you do. But it seems that while sitting in your fifth wheel posting on the Class A forum, you need to be derogatory. You must really have a miserable life.

Sounds like you stayed at the LTVA. Boondocking is free, have to move every 14 days.

We stayed in town, so we we're on compacted gravel, not as Dusty as BLM land

The area off of Plomosa is less than the others, but bring a vacuum.

Went to Quartzsite, it was interesting. We stayed at a BLM site for a few days, was charged $40. for up to 15 days a bargain. We also joined FMCA and am looking foward to their magazine and info, Never heard how dusty the place is, but we survived and went on to Grand Canyon. The park there was empty and was easy to get around as well as exciting. From there we went to Las Vegas and that too was fun. All and all it was a great trip, and would do it again.

Those guys are working for tips, so be generous.. Some of the ones I saw show up at Roadmaster (also out there) should have been retired, but were completely refurbished. Still the best deal,out there.

Nope. Not north of town. I looked last year and saw one (Iirc) analog LP transmitter, and it was Spanish. That's why I said they come and go all the time, because there is at least (as a year ago). LP or translator shown for Q. But it ain't there.

We camp off of Plomosa on relatively high ground, and this is all I caught on a Batwing w/ Wingman (I call it a Batman :) ), and a portable spectrum analyzer.
